After the new privacy policy of Whatsapp, Telegram with some other app has seen a greater rise in downloads. And if everyone doesn't accept the WhatsApp policy and also WhatsApp regret taking it back then it will be a golden opportunity for the telegram to gain more downloaders and make the people dependent on it.
So, let's talk about the 10 best features of the telegram which make it a good using app :
(1)Folders for Chat:
Telegram allows the user to save his/her chat in his/her manner. You can save the chats in different folders and the place where you want. It will also allow you to save some messages in one folder and another in another one.
You can use it by clicking on the Menu bar (≡)then click on the Settings(⚙️) button and that click on the "Folders" option. In that, you can create the folder and can save the messages you want.
(2)Asking to run Telegram in the background or not:
Telegram also has the feature in which they can select to receive notification of messages or not. If the user does not want the telegram to run in the background he/she can off the "Keep-Alive" option.
He/She can on/off the "Keep-Alive" option by again going to the Menu (≡) bar and then going to the Settings (⚙️) and then click on the "Notifications and Sounds" option. In this scroll down and there you will find "Keep-Alive" and then you can on/off the option as you like.
(3)Free unlimited cloud storage for messages:
Telegram provides the user with free storage in their secure server of the telegram, which the user can use by saving the messages which he/she want to access through any devices. He/She can be used by going to the menu bar and then to the "Saved Messages" option and there you can save some important messages.
(4)Custom Themes:
Telegram provides the user with some of the themes and also allows the user to customize the message color in which color he/she likes. You will get Five(5) themes and so many colors for messages and you will also have every shade to make and use it as you like.
You can use it by again going to Menu (≡) bar and then to "Chat Settings" and there you will get some themes and bottom themes you will get the color for messages and in that swiping at last there you can create some color shades and use it.
(5)Scheduled messages and Sending with no sound:
Telegram has thought very differently from the other apps. In many other apps, you need to use a third-party app for scheduling a message, and the third-party may not be faithful and you may be risking your data in using that app. But Telegram provides that feature in its own app which makes the user not use the third-party app and it will be very much easy to schedule a message at any time which the user wants. Along with this Telegram gives the user to send messages without making any sound, which helps to not disturb the user and send the message, which is a very different feature from the other users.
The user can use it by just typing the message in the message box and instead of sending click long on the send button which provides the user with both options and the user can use whichever he/she likes.
(6) Nearby Telegram Users:
Telegram provides the user to see the nearby users who are using the Telegram and can talk to them if the user likes. It also shows the user, the activated group in his area, and also the number of people online in that group.
the user can use this in two different ways. Firstly by going to the Menu bar(≡)and that clicking on the "People Nearby" option. Secondly, he/she can use it by going to the Menu bar and then to the "Contact" option and then click on the "Find People Nearby" option. In these two ways, the user can use this Telegram feature.
(7)Editing pictures even after sending:
If you have sent the wrong picture? or any other problem with the picture you have send to anyone then you can use this feature in Telegram. You can change the picture or edit the picture and resend the edited or replaced picture despite the previous one. The app already has an in-built photo editor which makes you, not to download another app to edit the sent picture.
You can use it by just pressing the photo for a long time and select the edit or replace option, according, what you required.
(8)Live Location and Proximity Alerts:
Sending Live Location is the most common feature in every messaging app but the Telegram adds something different to this option. The person will be allowed to share the live location only for 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours. If both have shared each other live location than the Telegram will show both of them on the map and will make easy for both the user to track each other and if set proximity alerts also than it will alert both of them, if they have come in the set radius of each other.
After sending the live location, by clicking on the paperclip like icon in the sent message and then select the "Proximity Alert" option and now you can set the alert for the required radius.
